Gov Abdulrazaq Congratulates Alimi Abdulrazaq On Becoming Member Of Body Of Benchers

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq  of Kwara State has sent his message of congratulations to his elder brother, Dr. Alimi Abdulrazaq on his induction as a member of the Nigeria’s Body of Benchers.

The Body of Benchers is the body of practitioners of the highest distinction in the legal profession, which is responsible for the formal call to the bar of persons seeking to become legal practitioners as well as disciplining of erring lawyers.

Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq, who is the Mutawali of Ilorin, was inducted as a member of the Body of Benchers during a special ceremony held at the Body of Benchers Complex, Abuja on Thursday.

Interestingly, Dr Alimi’s  late father,  Alhaji AGF Abdulrazaq, SAN, was the chairman of the influential body between 1983 and 1984.

Governor Abdulrazaq noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye on Thursday that this feat is ‘a reward for hard work, diligence, discipline, good leadership, and excellent conduct’ for which the Mutawalli is known. 

‘The governor says the recognition further challenges the Mutawali to continue along the path of ethical leadership, human solidarity, and community service, which have defined his life.
