
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state in an action that made many leap to conclusions that he may have decided to say ‘good riddance to bad rubbish’, announced the appointment of Idowu Rasaq Imam as his Senior Special Assistant on Rural Mobilization on Monday.
This had come a few hours after Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo announced his resignation from his position. He was until Monday, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Rural Mobilization.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Imam ‘is a thoroughbred politician from Adewole Ward , Ilorin West Local Government’.
The Governor has also appointed Ibrahim Orire, who hails from Wara Osin Ward, as his Special Assistant on Transportation.
The statement noted that Abdulrazaq has also made two cabinet nominations who would be representing Ilorin South and Edu Local Governments while adding that their names had since been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for confirmation hearing- -Team@orientactualmags.com
