
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state on Sunday appointed Umar Mohammed as his Special Adviser on Youth and Sports Development.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, who disclosed this in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com, noted that Mohammed, an indigene of Patigi ,known in the political circles as ‘Captain’, is a grassroots mobilizer, a Sports enthusiast, and a long-standing ally of Abdulrazaq.

‘He holds a Higher National Diploma certificate in chemical engineering from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa.
His appointment takes immediate effect.
The Governor has also approved the appointment of Mohammed Ndako Aliyu, also from Patigi, as Special Assistant on Teachers – Kwara North , this is coming a few days after he made similar picks for Kwara South and Central to be the specific go-between for the government and teachers in the concerned senatorial districts’ the statement added.

Umar’s appointment came shortly after Attahiru Ibrahim Abdulkadir, who was playing his role until Sunday, resigned from his position.
Mr Mohammed Abubakar Seko and Mr Musbau Esinrogunjo had also resigned from their positions in September and October respectively.
