Gov Adeleke Congratulates Shuaib Oyedokun On His 89th Birthday…Calls Him ‘ Iconic Politician’

Governor Ademola Adeleke has congratulated an elder statesman and a leader of note, Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun on his 89th birthday.
Governor Adeleke ,who in the congratulatory message made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday described the birthday celebrant as an iconic politician , also added that ‘Baba Oyedokun is a sterling example of leadership with purpose’.
The Governor said Chief Oyedokun’s birthday ‘is a moment to acknowledge his verse contribution to social and political advancement of Nigeria’, adding that the veteran politician deserved to be celebrated for investing heavily in the service of the people and also serving as a clear reflection of patriotism for younger people.
‘From time immemorial, Chief Oyedokun has been a symbol, not only for our great party, the PDP, but any genuine lover of democracy and order.
And as he turns 89, he continues to remind us of the inestimable jewel that nature bestowed on us going by how much he has contributed to our progress as a people.
Chief Oyedokun is a leader that has enriched our democratic experience. He remains a strong pillar of support for PDP, especially in the quest to salvage Nigeria from the doldrums of maladministration that was foisted on the state by the APC.
As Baba turn 89 today, I wish him more celebrations and pray for God’s guidance, protection and sound health to continue to render invaluable service to the country and most importantly, contribute to the rescue of our people from misrule’ the governor submitted.
Chief Oyedokun, who was the Secretary to old Oyo state Government under Dr Omololu Olunloyo , later served as National Deputy Chairman (South) of the PDP during President Olusegun Obasanjo administration.
