Gov Adeleke Discusses Infra Plan, Road Conditions In Osun During Visit To Works Minister In Abuja
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State visited the Minister of Works, Engineer Dave Umahi in Abuja on Friday during which he discussed his administration’s infra plan and road conditions in the State of the Living Spring while seeking more federal interventions.
Adeleke’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the governor was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Hon Kazeem Akinleye.
The statement added that the governor talked about his administration’s multi- billion naira infra projects which include flyovers, dualisation of roads and ongoing construction of several major roads across the state while adding that his administration has constructed over 150 kilometers of roads since his assumption of office, including the 1.5 kilometers per local government in the state.
While commending the minister for his bold approach when it comes to maters that have to do with the road sector, the governor also briefed him on federal roads that his administration has worked on, and he expressed the need for a favorable rapport between the state and the federal government in the road sector.
