Gov Adeleke Inaugurates Panels Charged With Recovering Public Assets , Reviewing Appointments
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has asked the panels and committees he inaugurated on Tuesday to recover looted public assets and review all appointments made by his immediate predecessor, former governor Gboyega Oyetola after July 16 .
Inaugurating four different panels on Tuesday, Adeleke, who was represented by his Deputy , Prince Kola Adewusi lamented alleged widespread pillaging of government assets, tasking the panels with righting the wrongs and discharging their mandate with a sense of urgency.
The Governor further reassured the citizens that he will not back down on his resolve to stop all post -July 17 illegalities, assuring that Osun state payroll pre-July 17 remains intact.
While describing his administration as a Government of rule of law, the Osun State Chief Executive said his administration has not sacked any worker that was on the payroll of Osun state as at July 17, noting that those with issues to explain are those who entered the payroll after July 17.
