Gov Adeleke Mourns Chief Imam of Iwo’s Passing

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has commiserated with the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi and all the Muslim faithful in Iwoland over the passing of Fadeelat Sheikh Abdulfatai Obelawo Olododo, the Chief Imam of Iwoland.

‘It was shocking beyond words to learn about the passing of Fadeelat Sheikh Abdulfatai Obelawo Olododo, the Chief Imam of Iwoland.
Sheikh Olododo was a respected scholar who promoted right ideals that foster peace and unity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As a government, we join the people of Iwo, particularly the Muslim community, in mourning a worthy religious leader. In this moment of profound sorrow, we offer our deepest sympathies and assurance of support to everyone touched by Sheikh Olododo’s loss’ the governor submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed.
Governor Adeleke prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased Imam and urged those he has left behind, especially the family members to find solace and strength in the memories of his remarkable life and the fact that his legacy will endure generations.
