Gov Adeleke Mourns Passing Of ‘Close Family Friend’ Gboyega Famodun, Calls Him ‘Politician Of Note’
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has commiserated with the opposition party, All Progressive Congress (APC) over the passing of its former state chairman, Adegboyega Famodun while asking God to grant the family and the APC the strength to bear the loss.
The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Sunday recalled the late politician’s long years of association with the Adeleke family while he was in the United States of America, describing him as a politician of note who contributed his own quota to the political development of Osun State.
The governor, who returned to the country earlier in the day, also extended his condolences to the people of Igbajo town and the APC while urging prayers for the repose of the soul of the former APC chairman.
‘On behalf of the government and people of Osun State, I condole the family of our late brother, Adegboyega Famodun. I got the shocking news as I was arriving in the country today.
Our late brother was a close family friend. We mourn his sudden death. We join the family in this grieving period.
