Gov Adeleke Mourns Passing Of Sheikh Ibrahim Adekilekun
Governor Ademola Adeleke on Sunday commiserated with the Muslim community in Ede and other Muslims in Osun State over the passing of Sheikh Ibrahim Adekilekun, who was until his death at the weekend, the Chief Imam of Ansar-ud-deen Society, Ede branch.

Governor Adeleke in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed described the late Islamic Scholar as a man of peace, and humility, who showed unwavering devotion to service to God and humanity.
‘It is with deep shock and a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of Sheikh Ibrahim Adekilekun. His death is a painful loss not only to the Muslim Ummah in Ede but to the entire Osun State.
Sheikh Adekilekun was a spiritual guide, a teacher, and a leader whose sermons, lifestyle, and exemplary character inspired generations of faithful. He stood for truth, promoted tolerance and unity, and strengthened the moral fabric of our society. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him’ he said.
The governor extended his condolences to the Ansar-ud-deen Society, the Muslim Ummah, and the people of Ede, urging them to find comfort in the enduring impact of Sheikh Adekilekun’s life of faith and service.
