Gov Adeleke Not Addressing Citizens Tomorrow, Media Report ‘Untrue’ -Aide
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, who would be marking a year in office tomorrow, Monday, November 27, 2023, will not be addressing the citizens as he is currently on a working vacation to Asia and Europe, his Special Assistant on New Media, Mr. Olalekan Badmus submitted on Sunday night.
Recall that Governor Ademola Adeleke had on Saturday disclosed that he will be embarking on a short working vacation to Europe and Asia to finalize partnership deals with investors and development partners
His Special Adviser, Mr. Olawale Rasheed had noted in a statement he issued in Osogbo that the governor, who has not gone on a break since assuming office a year ago, would be concluding partnership deals in several sectors with investors who had earlier visited the state at different times.
Badmus noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that a certain statement that was claimed to have earlier emanated from his office is fake.
‘Our attention has been drawn to the statement purportedly emanating from the office of the governor’s SSA on New Media being circulated on some social media platforms especially WhatsApp about a statewide broadcast by Governor Adeleke which is scheduled to hold tomorrow, Monday , November 27 , 2023.
Governor Adeleke had duly notified Osun people of his working vacation to Europe and Asia, the first time he would take a break since taking office one year ago. He has also directed the Commissioner for Information to brief the media on the one-year landmark achievements of his administration this Monday ,27th of November.
The governor had also stopped any celebration of his one year in office to conserve state resources and to keep in line with the challenging times currently facing the citizenry.
