Gov Adeleke Okays Convening Of 8th Assembly Tomorrow As Osun 7th Assembly Adjourns Sine Die
As the Osun state seventh House of Assembly adjourns sine die, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has okayed the convening of the eighth House of Assembly tomorrow, Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
He noted that this was done in line with Section 105, sub-section 3 of the Nigerian constitution.
The governor’s Spokesman, Mr. Olawale Rasheed noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday that letters have since been addressed to the Clerk of the state House of Assembly to this effect.
‘In two separate letters to the clerk, the governor cited relevant sections of the Constitution to affirm that the Assembly is dissolved with immediate effect while the new Assembly is to be inaugurated on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at 10am’ the statement noted-Team@orientactualmags.com
