Gov Adeleke To Preside Over Security Council Meeting In Osogbo Today
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state will today, Thursday, March 16, 2023 meet with heads of security agencies in the state behind closed doors.
His media office noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that he would be presiding over the meeting while noting that he would be doing this for the second time since becoming the governor.
‘ Heads of security and para-military agencies are to attend the meeting ahead of the House of Assembly election scheduled to hold on Saturday.
This meeting is coming amidst increasing infiltration of the state by fake policemen and the loud protestations by the ruling People’s Democratic Party about police unwarranted attacks on its members and ongoing mass arrest of its leaders across the local governments.
Governor Adeleke had used the earlier Security Council meeting to direct immediate arrest of political hoodlums and had also asked security agents to carry out a raid on hideouts of criminals in the state. The governor had also urged synergy between security agencies in the state for crime prevention and security strategy’ the statement noted-Team@orientactualmags.com
