Gov Adeleke’s Failure To Pay ‘Damage Assessment Visit’ To Ilobu, Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun Condemnable- Osun APC

Osun State APC on Monday condemned Governor Ademola Adeleke’s failure to pay a ‘damage assessment’ visit to Ifon-Osun, Ilobu and Erin-Osun communities that have gotten involved in communal violence for five days now which has ‘claimed many lives, properties and rendered many citizens homeless’.
‘Even when the natives of the affected communities are now gasping for survival by living in a demeaning condition and becoming ‘refugees’ in neighbouring towns and villages, it is strange that Governor Ademola Adeleke has not deemed it fit to visit the affected areas to give confidence and succour to the victims of the avoidable strife’ the party submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Chief Kola Olabisi on Monday.
.
The statement also alleged that the governor did not attend the meeting held with the traditional rulers of the warring towns at the weekend because he was in Lagos for his daughter’s birthday while he sent Adekunle Omoyele as his representative.
‘Governor Adeleke would continue to get things wrong as long as he continues to do the right thing at the wrong time and the wrong thing at the right time as there was no justification for him not to have visited the crisis-ravaged communities for him to know the extent of the destruction of lives and property in the two ancient towns.
It is doubtful if a governor who is yet to know the extent of the damage caused by the communal violence to residents of the affected communities would have the wherewithal to think of how to arrange for relief materials for the homeless victims and those who lost their loved ones’ the party said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
