The new governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Dauda Lawal Dare, has accused his predecessor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle of looting government property.

Mattawale according to him took away 17 government vehicles , television sets , cookers and other household items.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the governor said this during a phone- in programme on a local radio station in Gusau, the state capital.
He also added that his predecessor also left behind an empty treasury and a huge debt.
‘Former governor Bello Matawalle has gone away with 17 vehicles from his office and those in the deputy governor’s office claiming that the vehicles are his personal belongings. In fact, not even office equipment was spared.
The atrocities are beyond comprehension, I’ve never seen crass irresponsibility like this one. But, with good planning I’m assuring the citizens of the state that we will do our best to correct the anomalies’ he submitted–Team@orientactualmags.com
