Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has issued a directive that all workers in the state must present their original academic certificates before receiving their October salary.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor, who said this in a statement issued in Yola on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonisouko, added that the exercise is not to witch-hunt anyone but to rather restore sanity to the service.
‘Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has issued a directive requiring all workers at government institutions, ministries, boards, and agencies to immediately present their certificates’ the governor submitted while noting that this was done to restore order and prevent unqualified individuals from occupying positions, thereby denying the younger generation the opportunities to hold such positions.
‘This exercise is not intended to witch-hunt anyone but rather to ensure sanity in the system’ the statement said.
The governor , who warned that failure to comply will this directive will result in the forfeiture of October salary, assured that no one will be denied their salary if they present their academic certificates before the end of October.
