Gov Fubara To New SSG, COS: I’ll Show You The Door If Seen At Any Unofficial Meeting
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has threatened to show the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government and the Chief of Staff the door if they are found or seen at any unofficial meeting while urging them to carry out their duties with discipline, loyalty, and be firmly committed to the success of his administration.
The top government officials, he added, should prioritize the welfare of the people of Rivers State and stay away from nocturnal meetings or conduct that can embarrass the state government.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor said this on Thursday shortly after swearing in the SSG, Dr. Dagogo Wokoma, and the Chief of Staff, Sunny Ewule at the Government House, Port Harcourt.

Governor Fubara said their appointment is a call to service and not a platform for pursuit of personal ambition while noting that their foremost responsibility is to themselves and the people of Rivers State.
‘The office of the Secretary to the State Government demands thoroughness, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Your duty includes representing the state government. You need to represent us in a manner that brings honour to the state. What is important to this administration is to ensure that the good works we started, and those we inherited, are concluded in a way that brings progress and development to our dear state’ he told Wokoma.
Looking in the direction of the new Chief of Staff, the governor said:
‘Let me make it very clear: your duty is to handle administrative duties and image-making roles efficiently, liaising with anyone coming for any official assignment. If you involve yourself in nocturnal meetings or similar activities, I will sack you. I am very serious. What matters to me is the peace, progress, and prosperity of this state. I will not compromise on that’.
While congratulating the new appointees, he expressed hope that they would justify the confidence reposed in them while urging all public officials to work together in unity and noting that collective success is stronger and more enduring than individual achievement.
He also asked Permanent Secretaries who have reached retirement age to begin to prepare their handover notes without delay while warning against financial misconduct or last-minute irregularities-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
