Gov Fubara Would’ve Been A Level 14 Civil Servant Were It Not For Wike- Former Rivers Works Commissioner
Governor Siminalayi Fubara would have been ‘a level 14 civil servant in Rivers state by now, were it not for the FCT Minister, Mr. Nyesom Wike, who supported and recommended him for government positions, a former Commissioner for Works in the state, George-Kelly Alabo, has submitted.
Recall that Alabo resigned from his position in March and he was later appointed as Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency by President Bola Tinubu.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alabo also declared his continued loyalty to Wike in a video posted by the Channels Television.
‘My loyalty lies irreversibly with Nyesom Wike.
Let me tell you something, we must not forget those who helped us to climb. The governor, for instance, would have been a level 14 civil servant in the Ministry of Finance if not for Wike who made him a DFA, Permanent Secretary, Accountant General, and governor’ he said.
Alabo also accused Governor Fubara of not keeping to the terms of the peace agreement initiated by President Bola Tinubu.
‘Part of the resolution was that the budget should be presented to the House of Assembly again. So, there is no appropriation. How are you spending? That’s probably why I couldn’t side with him’ he said.
This has come the same week that Wike made a veiled reference to the rift between him and Fubara submitting that he made a mistake that would be corrected at the appropriate time.
‘I want to say this clearly: in life, we make mistakes. I have made a mistake. I own it up, and I say God forgive me. I have said all of you forgive me. But we will correct it at the appropriate time’ Wike had submitted on Saturday-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
