
Kebbi state governor, Comrade Dr.Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, has approved the release of N27,500,000 (Twenty Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira for the immediate payment of tuition and registration fees for all the 38 Nigeria Law School students who are Kebbi state indigenes.
The state Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshal disclosed this in a statement he issued in Birnin Kebbi and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday
The 28 Bar Part II students , the commissioner noted, will receive the sum of N750,000 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only) each, while the Bar Part I students will get the sum of 650,000 (Six Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only) each respectively.
‘His Excellency’s approval became necessary when the management team of the Nigeria Law School increased the fees to N476,000 ( Four Hundred and Seventy Six Thousand Naira Only) for Bar Part II and N353,000 (Three Hundred and Fifty Three Thousand Naira Only) for Bar Part I’ he said.
The law school students, through the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Junaidu Bello Marshall, thanked the governor for the kind gesture and assured the government of their resolve to be good ambassadors of the state.
They described the gesture of goodwill as a fulfillment of the governor’s promise to provide quality education for all.
Recall that the last time Kebbi state Government paid tuition and registration fees for indigenes of the state attending the Nigeria Law School was in 2017-Team@orientactualmags.com
