Gov Idris Approves Over ₦1.1b For Payment Of Gratuities, Death Benefits In Kebbi
The governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, has approved the release of ₦1,138,177,993.11 for the payment of gratuities and death benefits to those who retired from the State civil service, Local Government, the Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs), and others.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Rashidu Muhammad Bala on behalf of the state Head of Service, Malami Shekare on Thursday noted that state and contract staff, local government workers, and Local Government Education Authorities, LGEAs, employees who retired or passed away between 16th September and 15th December 2024, are among the beneficiaries.
‘A total of 459 beneficiaries will receive payments under this approved intervention, reflecting Governor Nasir Idris’ unwavering commitment to the welfare of retirees and the families of deceased workers in Kebbi State.
