Gov Idris, Gov Buni, Bagudu Pay Condolence Visit To AbdulRasheed Bawa In Jega

Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, Yobe State governor, Mr Mai Mala Buni, and the Minister for Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, have jointly paid a condolence visit to former chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Alhaji AbdulRashid Bawa and the Kebbi State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Hayatu Bawa on the passing of their mother, Hajiya Hadiza Ahmad Bawa.


The late Hajiya Hadiza Ahmad Bawa, died on September 25, 2024, at the Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, after a prolonged illness.
She died at 68,
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Yahaya Sarki, who is Kebbi State governor’s Special Adviser on Media, noted that Governor Idris, who visited Jega on Saturday to offer special prayers for the deceased woman was also accompanied by top government officials, local government chairmen, and political figures.
They asked Almighty Allah to grant Hajia Hadizah mercy and admit her into Aljannar Firdaus, and also give the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
The governor’s Special Adviser on Islamic Affairs, Engr. Imrana Ibn Usman, who presided over the prayer session, asked Allah to forgive Hajiya Hadizah and repose her soul.
Late Hajiya Hadiza Ahmad Bawa is survived by ten children, including Alhaji AbdulRashid Bawa and the Kebbi State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Hayatudeen Bawa.
Similarly, Governor Nasir in company of Alhaji Atiku Bagudu also paid a condolence visit to Gwandu to commiserate with the family and people of Gwandu on the demise of Alhaji Aliyu Mustapha Gwandu, a one-time Permanent Secretary, Government House, Birnin Kebbi.
Late Alhaji Aliyu, who held the traditional title of ‘Sarkin ‘Yan Sarkin Gwandu’ passed away on September 13, 2024, after a short illness.
The statement noted that the governor also visited the residence of Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa in Birnin Kebbi, to offer his condolences on the death of the former rep member’s wife, Hajiya Sadiya Hussaini Suleiman Zango.
