Gov Idris Pays Condolence Visit To Tukur Kola Family In Birnin Kebbi
Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Mallam Tukur Kola, a renowned Islamic scholar, who was until his death two weeks ago, the Chief Imam of Dr. Bello Jumu’a Mosque, Birnin Kebbi.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that Dr Idris on arrival in Birnin Kebbi from an official engagement in Abuja on Sunday proceeded directly to the residence of the deceased Islamic Scholar in the Go-Slow area of the state capital to offer his condolences.

Governor Idris described the late Mallam Tukur Kola as a man of the people who made remarkable contribution to the propagation of Islam.
Citing a Qur’an verse, the governor noted that death is inevitable for every mortal.
‘Death is inevitable; every soul shall taste it, Mallam was truly a man of the people’ the governor said.
He prayed Allah to forgive the deceased person, grant him Aljannah Firdaus, and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Bashar Tukur Kola, the son of the deceased Islamic Scholar, expressed gratitude to the governor for finding time, despite his tight schedule, to personally condole with them.
Special prayers held for the repose of the soul of the late scholar were led by Engr. Imrana Usman, the governor’s Special Adviser on Religious Affairs.
