Gov Idris Promises Renewed Hope Agenda Ambassador ‘Full Support’

Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, has pledged to work hand in hand with the newly appointed Coordinator of Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) in the state, Alhaji Sambo Gwandu.

Receiving the coordinator at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Friday, Governor Idris assured him of full support and a productive partnership aimed at enlightening Nigerians on the dividends of democracy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The governor noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda aligns with Kebbi State’s development priorities, particularly in infrastructure, security, and socio-economic empowerment.

 He reaffirmed Kebbi State’s unwavering support for President Tinubu, declaring that ‘We believe in the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, Kebbi State is the number one supporter of the Tinubu administration’.

Governor Idris lamented that despite the visible achievements of both the Federal and Kebbi State governments, some opposition elements have continued to spread negative things.

While acknowledging that criticism is part of democracy, he however stressed that it must be constructive and fair.

He also noted that his administration inherited significant infrastructural decay but remains committed to transforming the state through people-centred projects. 

The governor expressed confidence in Alhaji Sambo Gwandu’s capability to effectively drive the Renewed Hope Agenda in Kebbi State.

Governor Idris described the Ambassador as a dependable and principled individual, adding that ‘I know that if I go wrong, you will correct me. You are capable of delivering on your mandate’.

Earlier, Ambassador Sambo Gwandu had shown the bus and Hilux vehicle donated to RHA for its logistics operations in Kebbi State to the governor while assuring him of his commitment to promoting the developmental strides of both President Tinubu and the current administration in the Land of Equity.

He commended Governor Idris for his relentless efforts to improve every sector in the state, noting that these achievements have projected Kebbi positively on the national stage and global stage. 

Gwandu called for continued cooperation and support from the state government in executing the RHA’s mission noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda was created to improve the lives of Nigerians in all dimensions.

He emphasized that many citizens are still unaware of President Tinubu’s economic and social reforms, adding that ‘this is exactly what we, as Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda, are going to address’.
