Gov Nasir Idris’ Achievements Easing Things For Us Ahead Of LG Elections-Kebbi Deputy Gov
Kebbi state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Tafida, has submitted that the remarkable achievements of Governor Nasir Idris in his first year in office has made it possible for the APC campaign team to get a warm welcome across the state ahead of the local government elections.

Speaking at the APC Zonal Campaign Rally in Bunza Town on Thursday, Tafida, who represented Governor Idris, expressed happiness about the overwhelming turnout of APC supporters from Bunza, Bagudo, Maiyama, and Suru local governments.
Highlighting the governor’s accomplishments, the Deputy Governor submitted that Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris remains the only governor in Nigeria who distributed fertilizer and other agricultural inputs to farmers for free.
He also enumerated significant achievements in the education sector, including the construction and renovation of schools , road projects as well as the recruitment of 2,000 new teachers.
The Deputy Governor further acknowledged the government’s efforts in respect of youth and women empowerment across the state.
At the campaign rally in Bunza, he welcomed hundreds of PDP defectors to the APC, saying that their action has proved the positive impact of Governor Idris’ leadership.
Tafida also urged the electorate to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming local government elections.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, received the defectors while assuring them of equal and fair treatment in the party.
Alhaji Sambo Juli, Faruk Selection Bunza and Hon Ruwa Sambo , who were among the PDP defectors, declared that Bunza Local Government is now firmly in the hands of the APC, praising the governor for his infrastructure development in the state.
Other key figures who spoke at the rally include Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi Central, Alhaji Abubakar Bello, Matawalen Bunza, Hon Yusuf Tilli, a member of the state House of Assembly, Hon Usman Ladan, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, and Alhaji Abubakar Gari Malam, ,who is the governor’s Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental Affairs.
They unanimously agreed that the PDP has lost its influence in Bunza, with the APC now leading the way.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that highlight of the event was the donation of a new vehicle to the Bunza LGA APC chairmanship candidate by Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Guruza, a prominent businessman in the state.
Earlier, the APC campaign team led by Alhaji Umar Abubakar Tafida paid homage to the District Head of Bunza , Alhaji Mustapha Bunza where they sought for prayers and royal blessings.
The Deputy Governor also talked about the myriad of developmental projects of APC- led administration under Governor Idris.
