Gov Nasir Idris Inaugurates Jumah Mosque In Maje
Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, has inaugurated a new jumah mosque in Maje, Bagudo Local Government.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that the mosque that was built by Rep Bello Abubakar Kaoje, who represents Suru/Bagudo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was inaugurated on Friday amidst cheers from residents of the border town.

In his remarks, Governor Idris thanked the people of the town for giving him a very warm reception and commended the federal lawmaker for constructing the mosque and delivering dividends of democracy to his constituents.
The governor disclosed that plans are underway to reconstruct the Kaoje–Maje Road, an international route linking Nigeria to the Republic of Benin while adding that his administration is working towards establishing a military base to strengthen and improve security in the area.
Giving his speech, Hon. Bello Abubakar Kaoje thanked Dr Idris for honouring the invitation to inaugurate the mosque noting that the decision to construct the Jumah mosque was informed by the request from the community during the governor’s earlier visit to the area.
