Gov Oborevwori Appoints Former Defence Chief As DELSU Governing Council Chairman

The governor of Delta state, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of tertiary  institutions in the state.

Retired General Alexander Odeareduo Ogomudia, who had at different times served as Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, has been named as Chairman of the Governing Council of Delta state University, Abraka , with Barr. Doris Ejinyere, Rt Hon.Martins Okonta, Hon Ben Igbakpa, Sir Andrew Odum SAN as new members while Chief Peter Yerinde Biakpara, Prof. Usiwoma Evowoma-Enuku and Chief Surv. Terry Noah who are old members, retained their positions.
