Gov Ododo Offers Condolences As 2 Govt Officials, 1 APC official Die In Kogi
Kogi State government on Monday announced the death of two government officials and one party official while also offering its condolences.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the death of the top politicians ; Onojah James Ignatius, Jatto Onimisi Suleiman and Alih Atabo was announced by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Kingsley Fanwo in a statement he issued in Lokoja on Monday.
‘The Government and people of Kogi State have received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of three distinguished sons of the state: Hon. Onojah James Ignatius, the governor’s Special Adviser, and a former Chairman of Igalamela Local Government; Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant and Alhaji Alih Atabo, APC Chairman, Anyigba Ward, Dekina Local Government’ the statement said.
Hon Fanwo said the deceased persons served Kogi State and the All Progressives Congress with uncommon dedication, loyalty, and commitment.
The statement also noted that Governor Usman Ododo has offered his condolences to friends and family members of the deceased persons, the APC and the people of the state.
Onojah James Ignatius was according to Fanwo a seasoned grassroots mobiliser and an administrator whose passion for community development and good governance was evident in all his engagements.
‘Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman discharged his duties with humility, diligence, and an unwavering sense of responsibility, always placing the interest of the people above personal considerations. Alhaji Alih Atabo was a committed party stalwart whose devotion to the growth, unity, and progress of the APC at the ward level was exemplary.
We also commiserate with the people of Igalamela, Okene, Dekina, and all those whose lives were touched by their selfless service. We deeply appreciate their invaluable contributions to the development of Kogi State and the strengthening of our great party.
