Gov Ododo Reportedly Shields Yahaya Bello From Arrest At Abuja Residence, Makes His Convoy Available As ‘Means Of Escape’

Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi state served as a shield and prevented the Economic and Financial Crimes , EFCC agents from arresting his immediate predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in Abuja on Wednesday.
Recall that EFCC agents had arrived at Bello’s residence on Benghazi street, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, at about 9:30 am on Wednesday and while they must have planned to place the former governor under arrest and subsequently take him to their office for questioning , they however encountered stiff resistance from some police officers and armed men dressed in black with the inscription ‘Special Forces’ .
Whilst this was going on, Ododo reportedly arrived at Bello’s residence at about 2:30 pm and his convoy later left at exactly 4:20 pm.

He allegedly used his convoy as means of escape for Bello as the EFCC agents that had laid siege to the residence since morning left 10 minutes later apparently after getting informed that their ‘target’ had escaped.
‘The former governor has left. He left with the governor, Ododo, who just drove out now with his security guards’ a source was quoted to have submitted.
In the meanwhile, Team@orientactualmags.com learned that dramatic scenes were enacted at separate courtrooms in Lokoja and Abuja on Wednesday.
While Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja gave the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) the go-ahead to arrest Yahaya Bello ahead of his arraignment on fraud charges tomorrow, Thursday, Justice I. A Jamil of the Kogi state High Court in his ruling however restrained the EFCC from arresting, detaining or prosecuting the former governor except as ‘authorized by the court’–Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
