Gov Oyetola Congratulates Alani Akinrinade On His 83rd Birthday
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun state has joined other eminent Nigerians to congratulate retired General Ipoola Alani Akinrinade on his 83rd birthday.
Akinrinade, a one-time Chief of Army Staff (COAS), was born on October 3 October 1939.
Oyetola, who in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Omipidan on Monday described the former army chief as a patriotic Nigerian , further noted that his credential ‘is one of the selling points of Osun state’, noting that his profile and his contribution are important chapters in the recognition of Osun as one of the States of Distinction in Nigeria.
‘I am proud to be the governor of a man who typifies the Omoluabi ethos, which our state holds dear, and a fine gentleman, who is a reference point in the military, statesmanship and progressivism.
On behalf of my family, the government and people of Osun, I join family, friends, associates, well-wishers and the rest of the country to felicitate an elder statesman, retired Lt. Gen. Alani Akinrinade on the occasion of his 83rd birthday anniversary.
