Team@orientactualmags.com learned the dignitaries were in the ancient town to attend the funeral of mother of the veteran journalist, Mrs. Margaret Obaigbena.
Nduka had taken the microphone from Shina Peters, who was entertaining the guests, and began to sing ‘Governor of Sokoto’ and the guests chorused, ‘Tambuwal’ , ‘Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum’ and the guests again chorused ‘Tambuwal’ .
He said ‘Presidential candidate’ and the guests responded ‘Tambuwal’ , ‘future president’, the guests still chorused ‘Tambuwal’ .
Nduka later taunted Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state by saying ‘Wike lule’ but Tambuwal nodded disapprovingly.
It will be recalled that the Yoruba word ‘Lule’ meaning in English ‘ to fail’ , ‘ to be unsuccessful’ , was introduced into the nation’s political dictionary by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu during his famous speech in Abeokuta ahead of the APC presidential primary election.
Tinubu, who had said it appeared that party leaders had ganged up on him, had insisted that it was his turn to become the president.
President Muhammadu Buhari according to him ‘lule’ in his first presidential bid, second presidential bid ditto the third one – Team@orientactualmags.com
