Grammys 2025: Beyonce Wins Album Of The Year
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, who is popularly called Beyoncé, received the top prize on Sunday for ‘Cowboy Carter’, her 8th studio album, she also won best country duo/ group performance for ‘ll Most Wanted’ featuring Milley Cyrus and the best country album.
‘I’d like to thank all the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it’ Beyonce said during her acceptance speech for the latter award, which was presented by Taylor Swift.
‘I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and to stay persistent.
Wow. I’d like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators, thank you. This album wouldn’t have been without you’ she added.
Despite becoming the most-awarded artist in Grammy history in 2023, this is the first time she will win album of the year.
At the 2025 Grammys, Beyoncé received 11 nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter.
