Group Condemns Daood  Molaasan’s Comments On Rift Between Oyetola And Aregbesola, Poses 5 Questions To Him

A socio-political group, Osun Shall Rise Again (OSRA),  has accused   an Iwo-based cleric, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan of acting like a biased umpire in the  rift between immediate past governor of Osun state,  Adegboyega Oyetola and the former Interior Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The cleric has been accused of taking sides.

The group has asked him to explain to the whole world how the review of single uniform policy, abolition of re-classification schools and restoration of the names of schools in Osun state to their original names had offend Islam.

The group in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday by its Secretary and Chairman, Saheed Bakare and Lanre Akeju respectively,  described the cleric as an imposter and one of those using the sacred pulpit to dish out lies to their followers who had in turn used same to blackmail Oyetola.

‘As a group, interested in the growth and development of Osun, we did not hide our preference and so we are not ashamed to identify with him publicly.

We are aware as a group that contrary to the Cleric’s claim, he enjoyed patronage from the Oyetola administration till the former governor  left office. Did he also abuse Aregbesola to get money for the purchase of the land where his school  is located? Did he abuse Aregbesola to get money from Oyetola to buy the vehicle he is driving?

When those who claim to be spiritual leaders become this mischievous, then, one should not be surprised when the followers do worse things.

Oyetola played his part well as governor of Osun state  while in office and we believe genuine Osun people know that it was Oyetola who saved Osun from collapsing.

If it is easy to win an election, did the Cleric’s group not sponsor a candidate in the last election? What was the outcome? A man who addresses himself by a title that is unknown to the generality of other Muslims in the Southwest should not be taken seriously’ the group said-Team@orientactualmags.com
