Group Urges Ibrahim Oloriegbe To Join 2027 Kwara Guber Race
There are clear signs that the 2027 Kwara State gubernatorial race will soon begin to take shape following indications that Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe may yield to persuasion and throw his hat in the ring.
This is understandable because he is a political figure who has a good track record.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that a group, the Progressive Alliance Forum (PAF), is leading the charge and urging Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe to seek the top post in the state citing his proven history of results.
Dr Oloriegbe, who was the Majority Leader of Kwara State House of Assembly during the Admiral Mohammed Lawal administration, also represented Kwara Central in the Senate between 2019 and 2023.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The Progressive Alliance Forum has not only asked Dr Oloriegbe to join the 2027 Kwara State gubernatorial race but also pledged support for his candidacy.
Dr Oloriegbe, a medical practitioner, who was the Chairman, Senate Committee on Health, had under his belt , a special achievement – he had four bills that got presidential assent in four years.
