Gunmen Kill Hotelier In Ilorin

A hotel owner in the Kilanko axis of Olunlade, Ilorin, the Kwara state capital ,  Anthony Balogun, died at his hotel on Thursday night sequel to gun and machete attack.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that those who attacked him  had arrived at the  hotel  at about 8 pm and  requested to see the person in charge of the hospitality outfit.

The deceased person, who had thought that they were prospective customers, had emerged from his room to meet them at the reception.

They shot at him without delay and after shooting him in the chest, , they also used a machete to cut him in the head, hands, and legs before leaving the hotel.

Sources told Team@orientactualmags.com that the late Anthony had recently begun to oversee Febby Kay Hotel directly after  the former manager, an indigene of Ondo state, left  the hotel.

Scuffles had reportedly broken out between him and some yahooboys who had lodged in the hotel.

The former manager had reportedly invited some people who came to his rescue and attacked the yahooboys leaving one of them with a serious injury.

The police were subsequently involved and the former manager disappeared into thin air.

The late Anthony was described as a gentleman and one of those who visited the hotel two days earlier and agreed  to speak only  on condition of anonymity said he (Anthony) had a heated phone conversation adding that it had to do with ‘relationship’ apparently, the person on the other side of the phone should be a woman-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
