Gunmen Kill Vigilante , Abduct Lawmaker’s Son In Sokoto
18-year-old son of a member of the Sokoto state House of Assembly , has been abducted by gunmen in Rimawa village , Goronyo Local Government , Sokoto state.
A vigilante, Malam Bakwai , was shot dead while one other person was injured before the young chap was taken away.
The kidnap victim’s father, Faruk Ahmadu Rimawa, represents Goronyo state constituency.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the incident occurred at about 4pm on Wednesday.
‘Myself and the state chairman of PDP were in Goronyo town, condoling a bereaved family when I was informed of the attack. I quickly mobilized security operatives to the area but the bandits had left with the boy before their arrival.
