Offa/Ifelodun/Oyun PDP reps candidate, Hon Hassan Oyeleke, has rejected the election results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), citing electoral fraud.
Director of Media & Publicity , Hon Hassan Oyeleke Campaign Council, Mallam Mujib AbdulAzeez, in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday morning noted that the PDP reps candidate had not only questioned the election results but would also be taking a legal action ‘to reclaim the stolen mandate and correct the injustice’.
‘The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Ifelodun/ Offa / Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon Hassan Oyeleke has rejected the election results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
This is largely due to several reported malpractice cases and a widespread electoral fraud by agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in connivance with officials of the Electoral Commission as against stipulated guidelines in the electoral act.
These actions totally negate the fundamental principles of free and fair elections according to the electoral act. Such malpractices have failed to ensure credible election and against all ethics of conducting elections.
