High Food Prices: Protesters Hit The Streets Of Ibadan

The soaring food prices in the country made residents of Ibadan, Oyo state capital, hit the streets on Monday.
They lamented economic hardship, inflation of food prices, and high cost of living which were according to them an aftereffect of removal of petrol subsidy.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the protesters gathered around the Mokola area of Ibadan carrying placards with inscriptions that include ‘End food hike and inflation,’ ‘The poor are starving,’ and ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises,’ among others.
Armed policemen were seen at the protest scene.
The development recorded in Ibadan on Monday is coming after similar protests were reported in Kano, Minna, and other places-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
