High Food Prices: We Are Still Awaiting Directive On Sales Of 25kg Rice- NCS Kwara Command

The Kwara state Command of the Nigeria Customs Service ,NCS ,on Saturday assured Kwarans that the needful will be done in respect of the sales of 25kg bags of rice to residents of the state once the command gets the permission to proceed from its headquarters in Abuja .
The command has therefore urged patience as it awaits directive on the issue.
Recall that the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS , had announced decision to make seized food items available to the citizens in order to crash food prices and help to end the worrisome high food prices in the country.
In Lagos state, 25 kg bags of rice have been sold to members of the public by the NCS at N10,000 per bag.
Spokesman for the Kwara state command, Mr Zakari Chado in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday promised that the command will act swiftly once it gets required directive while assuring that every strata of society will be given the opportunity to enjoy from the ‘largesse’.

The statement however cautioned residents of Kwara state against putting pressure on those in charge of the command assuring that they would be informed ‘immediately the required directive is received from the headquarters in Abuja’- Team@orientactualmags.com
