1446 AH: Osun Govt Announces Monday As ‘Free Day’
Osun state government has announced Monday, July 8, 2024, as public holiday in the state .
Hon R.K Aderibigbe, who is the Commissioner for Home Affairs, disclosed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that July 8 was declared as public holiday in the state to mark the 1446 AH which means ‘After Hijrah’.
‘This is to inform the general public that His Excellency, the governor of Osun state, Dr. Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, has declared Monday, 8th July, 2024, as public holiday to mark the Islamic New Year Hijrah 1446AH.
