Hippopotamus Attacks, Kills 60-Year-Old Fisherman In Kebbi… Gov Idris Offers Condolences
. A 60-year-old fisherman, Malam Usman Maigadi, was attacked and killed by a Hippopotamus at Yauri River, Kebbi State on Sunday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Maigadi, a guard at the Emir of Yauri’s Orchard Farm, was fishing when the Hippopotamus attacked and killed him.
‘ Salatul janazah has been held for Maigadi in Yauri’ Chairman of Yauri Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Shu’aibu, submitted on Sunday.
Governor Nasir Idris has also offered his condolences .
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, the governor sent his condolences to the Yauri Emirate and the Maigadi family.
‘I want the emirate and members of the deceased person’s family to take heart and accept the will of the Almighty in good faith.
