Hisbah Board Orders Closure Of Nightclubs In Katsina

Nightclubs in Katsina State are to henceforth be under lock and key sequel to the directive issued by the Hisbah Board.

The Katsina State Hisbah Board has ordered the closure of nightclubs, citing Islamic principles and the need to uphold moral values.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Commander General of the Hisbah Board, Dr Aminu Usman, announced this in a statement he issued in Katsina on Wednesday.

Usman said nightclub owners must have their buildings under lock and key to curb immoral practices, protect societal values, and address security concerns in the state.

‘The board warns that violators would face strict penalties. Security agencies have been instructed to ensure full compliance with the order.

We are committed to building a morally upright society and ensuring peace and security in Katsina State’ he said.

Usman also said the Hisbah Board has informed relevant security agencies, including the state Commissioner for Internal Security, in respect of the enforcement of the directive in question.
