Three days after losing the Super Eagles job to Mr George Finidi , ex-international, Mr Emmanuel Amuneke has lamented how he was smeared because he had sought to get appointed as Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Amuneke, a former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles , also noted that he was made to face ‘misleading media reports’ .
Recall that media reports had alleged that Amuneke as Golden Eaglets‘ coach, did not have an excellent working relationship with the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) , and had also incited players against the body during the 2017 U-20 AFCON.
Amuneke was also accused of unethical conduct, alleging that he was directly involved in the transfer of Golden Eaglets players under him.
