Hundreds Of APC Members, Supporters Attend Campaign Rally In Augie

Kebbi state APC held a campaign rally in Augie , Augie local Government, to drum up support for all the candidates of the party on Sunday.
Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the campaign team was welcomed by hundreds of party supporters including youth and women groups , fishermen and camel riders.
APC Chairman in Augie Local Government , Bashir Isah Mera, Yariman Mera in his welcome address thanked the people of Augie for their show of support.
He asserted that Augie local government has always been the home of APC.
Mera added that Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has done so well when it comes to roads construction and other projects that have direct bearing on the lives of people.
He lamented the failure of the past PDP Government to carry out developmental projects in the area, saying that Bagudu has rescued the people of Augie from underdevelopment.
He promised that Augie people will support all APC candidates in the 2023 elections .
The state Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Augie also thanked the people of the local government for attending the rally in large numbers.

He thanked Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for the myriads of developmental projects in the area and expressed confidence that the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and other APC candidates would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
The Commissioner also disclosed that Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the electrification projects for villages in the area adding that work would commence soon.
Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri, also thanked the people of Augie for supporting the APC.
‘This is a sign that you love APC and I pray that you will do the same at the polls to vote for all our candidates particularly, Kauran Gwandu’ he said.
He urged the people to vote for Kauran Gwandu to ensure continuity of developmental projects already started by Governor Bagudu and the former Governor, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari.
Babale urged the people of Augie to collect their PVCs and vote for APC.
Hajiya Aishatu Gunabi, who is the State APC woman leader, appreciated Augie women for their support while asking them to vote for APC from top to bottom.
Gunabi also cautioned women against the use of henna decoration on their fingers a few days to the election day to prevent the idea of not getting captured by BVAS.
Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rtd Hon. Sani Muhammad Lolo lauded Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for giving the legislators opportunity to embark on constituency projects in their respective constituencies.
He called on people to vote for all APC candidates from top to bottom.
Other Speakers at the rally include Kebbi North APC Senate candidate, retired Comptroller of Customs, Federal Operations, Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa, Hon. Tijjani Yakubu, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Chairman APC Elders Forum and Alhaji Yakubu Augie .
Earlier, the campaign team had stopped off at the palace of Lamnin Augie, the District Head of Augie, Alhaji Adamu Samaila , to seek royal blessings, where they also met other District Heads, Lamnin Kwaido, Alhaji Umar Dobi,Lamnin Yola, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad, Muzan Bayawa, Murtala Muhammad Kola, Sarkin Sudan Tiggi, Alhaji Musa Yusuf Alkali and Alhaji Muazu Kaka,Muzan Bubuce .
The Deputy DG campaign Council, retired deputy comptroller general of Customs, Abubakar Gari Malam (Shatiman Gwandu told the royal fathers that the Kauran Gwandu, Dr. Nasir Idris and the DG , Campaign Council ,Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari could not join them because of official engagement in Abuja.
