I Have The Capacity To Serve As President Of Nigeria — Gov Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, has asserted that he has the capacity to serve as president of Nigeria, while adding that he is qualified and competent to be the President, the governor has also said he would gladly take up such a role if the opportunity presents itself.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor said this during an exclusive interview with the Arise News TV, on Friday.
He also spoke on ongoing works in the state, while adding that he is determined to make Osun become a great state.
‘Well, if God says it is time for me to become the president, I am qualified to be the president of Nigeria, so why not? I will grab it and take care of my people’ he said.
Adeleke, however, noted that his future political ambition is in the hands of God while adding that the introduction of BVAS by the Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC, made it easy for him to win the 2022 governorship election.
This, he noted, made it impossible for the ruling party to rig the election .
‘I have already set up a lot of committees and they are bringing everything. I’m working 24/7 to make sure that Osun becomes great.
I inherited a huge debt, about almost forty-something billion. So ,I started paying them half salary slowly, little by little. I think I have paid about four times now, the fifth one is coming. And then, the pensioners, I’m paying them too. I gave them free medical care and all that. So that’s part of the palliatives.
All our primary healthcare, I went there, I visited to see things for myself. They told me that ‘so a governor can come and visit us? I said my own governorship is different. They had to start fixing all the health centers, about 332 wards simultaneously’ he said.
When asked about the efforts and the steps he has taken to fix all federal roads in the state that are in a deplorable state, he said, ‘I have suspended action on federal roads, but I will complete the one that I started. So, I started fixing the state roads, and of course, the hinterlands. I don’t just do road surfacing. In fact, most of the roads that the APC claimed that they have fixed, it was through the Federal Government intervention. So, that means that they did not do any road.
Part of my agenda includes tourism, culture, and entertainment. And we have gold too, and they did nothing about that. So, we are doing a lot to improve our IGR. We have bitumen, we have a lot of it in Osun state, we have to just tap it’ he submitted-Team@orientactualmags.com
