I Never Said I Felt Uneasy About Bombing Northerners In The Forest-Abubakar Badaru
Former Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar submitted on Wednesday that the media report claiming that he resigned from his position on Monday because he ‘could not stand and watch the US and Tinubu government bombing our brothers in the forest’ is untrue.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the former Defence Minister, who said this in a statement on Wednesday, described the media report in question as false, malicious, and one that was intended to misrepresent his reasons for leaving office.
While noting that he never made such a comment or authorized anyone to do so on his behalf, he added that the publication was aimed at tarnishing his reputation, creating friction between him and President Bola Tinubu, and generating unnecessary controversy.
Badaru said the reasons for his resignation were made known to the president and also already made public while reaffirming his commitment to Nigeria’s peace and stability.
The former Jigawa State governor also said he will continue to support the APC ahead of the 2027 general election while urging the public to disregard the publication that was according to him promoted by the mischief makers-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
