I Won’t Return To Nigeria Unless…-Naira Marley

Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, who had come under the spotlight following the sudden death of a popular hip hop act, Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, has submitted that he is ready to return to the country to clear his name in respect of allegations that he had a hand in the death of the musician..

Marley  however noted that he would only do this with the proviso that the Nigeria Police Force will guarantee his safety.

The embattled musician, who  is  a British-Nigerian singer and songwriter, had asserted that he had never wished harm on Mohbad.

Fans of the late singer had called for probe having felt that he died in suspicious circumstances and controversy had since continued over his death with an accusing finger pointed at  Naira Marley , Sam Larry and others.

Splash FM 105.5 Ibadan, Fresh FM 106.9 FM, Ado – Ekiti , and others had  banned  Naira Marley’s songs until further notice.

 The Lagos state Police Command had also a few days ago, inaugurated  a 13-member special investigative team that has been tasked with probing the death of Mohbad while the  Department of State Services (DSS)  has followed suit.

MohBad died on September 12, at the age of 27.

In an interview session with Social Media influencer, Reno Omokri on Wednesday, Naira Marley  said there is a lot of angry mob poisoned by the media against his person and noted that  he would only return to the country if the police can guarantee his safety.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he also claimed Mohbad  had suicidal thoughts.

‘There was another time when I was in America and his girl called me to say he locked himself in the toilet and he wanted to kill himself or something like that. So, I called him from there and recorded the conversation, asking him: ‘Why do you want to kill yourself? You are a king, if your family is stressing you out (because this time, he was with his family and all his family are around him) just tell them to chill, you can do what you want to do, do not stress yourself, if you kill yourself now, what do you want people to say.

I was so concerned so I called him to try to give him rest of mind, if your family is stressing you out, leave.
