Ifelodun/ Boripe / Odo-Otin Federal Constituency PDP Bigwigs Nominate Soji Ajeigbe For ‘Commissioner’
PDP bigwigs in the nine federal constituencies in Osun state on Saturday gathered at the headquarters of their respective constituencies to choose those who would represent them in the State Executive Council.
This was done ahead of the formation of cabinet by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Though Adeleke was sworn in as sixth executive governor of Osun state by the state Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo on Sunday, November 27, 2022, he had apparently held matters that have to do with formation of cabinet in abeyance because the house of assembly was until about four weeks ago controlled by the APC.
A communiqué issued by party bigwigs in Ifelodun/ Boripe / Odo-Otin Federal Constituency which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Hon Soji Ajeigbe has been nominated and would have his name submitted to the governor for appointment as commissioner.
Soji is the son of late Chief Adebayo Ajeigbe, who died in September last year. The deceased politician was a chieftain of the party in the state.
‘The governor has graciously zoned a slot to Ifelodun/ Boripe /Odo-otin federal Constituency and political leaders in the constituency have met to discuss and take a decision on who should represent our people.
Hon. Soji Adetunji, MHR, Ifelodun/ Boripe/ Odo-otin federal Constituency, led members and party leaders to the residence of former Governor of Osun state, His Excellency, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and all other PDP leaders and members in the constituency to take a decision on the matter.
This serves as a formal confirmation that we have chosen Soji Ajeigbe from Boripe Local Government as our nominee after he had received endorsements from party leaders and BOT members of the People’s Democratic Party including His Excellency, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Hon Olusoji Abidemi Adetunji, Prince Bola Ajao- State PDP Secretary , Hon.
