Ifelodun LG Chairman Announces Passing Of Oludofian Of Idofian
Chairman of Ifelodun local government, Kwara State, Hon Femi Yusuf issued a statement today announcing the passing of the Oludofian of Idofian, Oba Olarewaju Adedamola Omikunle.
He noted that the deceased monarch was ‘a revered traditional ruler who served the Idofian community with wisdom, dignity, and commitment to peace and development’.
The statement added that Islamic funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) will be held for the late monarch in Idofian at 4pm today.
Hon Femi Yusuf prayed that Almighty Allah will grant the monarch’s soul eternal rest.

The late Oba Olarewaju Ominkule became a monarch and received the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment on January 5, 2024.
In the meanwhile, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has sent his heartfelt commiseration to the people of Idofian on the passing of Oba Muhammed Jamiu Olarewaju Adedamola Omikunle .
The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye noted that the transition of the second class monarch, who he described as a man of peace, ‘is an incalculable loss to the people of the community’.
He urged the community and the family of the monarch to accept this sad development as an act of God and take solace in his legacy of peace and stability within his short reign.
