Ifon Osun : Ọba Peter Oluwole Leaves Ipebi, Arrives At Olufon’s Palace For The 1st Time As Monarch
Following the completion of the required traditional rites, Ọba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola Ilufemiloye, Akinyooye III, who entered Ipebi last week, arrived at the Olufon’s palace for the first time as the ancient town’s reigning monarch on Monday.

Oba Peter’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yusuf Akeeb Adekunle noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday that the new monarch has urged his subjects to live in peace and harmony and join him in advancing the development and progress of the town.
‘The traditional rites for the new Olufon of Ifon Orolu Kingdom and the Aremọ Obatala of the Universe, His Royal Majesty, Ọba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola Ilufemiloye, Akinyooye III ended today. The fifth day rituals started this morning as the priests accompanied the king from Ìpẹ̀bí (the seclusion room), where he had stayed since five days ago to Bòòsà (the ancient town’s central shrine) where comprehensive rituals were performed for hours.
He later proceeded to the palace where he addressed and prayed for his town and subjects.
He thanked the government of Osun State under His Excellency, Sen Dr Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke’s leadership , the king makers in Ifon, his family members, members of different committees set up and the entire people of the town for the roles they played in his emergence and coronation as the Olufon of Ifon Orolu Kingdom.
The new monarch pleaded with his people to remain peace-loving as they have always been while urging them to join him in the developmental journey he has just started for the ancient city.
