Igbajo Throne: Ignore Rumours, There’s No Going Back- Gov Adeleke’s Media Aide

Osun state government has submitted that there are no plans to revisit or reverse the decisions contained in the white paper released on chieftaincy matters on Thursday.
Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Special Adviser , Mallam Olawale Rasheed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday said this was never under discussion while noting that he had issued the statement in reaction to rumours that the removal of Prince Gboyega Famodun as Owa of Igbajo has been reversed.
‘The attention of the media department of the Osun state governor has been drawn to fake news about the government going back on the decisions contained in the White Paper on Chieftaincy Matters that was released yesterday.
The purveyor of this falsehood had credited the factually incorrect claim to the Osun state governor’s spokesperson. There is no truth in the report and it should be regarded as the handiwork of beneficiaries of illegality perpetrated by the previous administration.
We want to reiterate that the Government stands by the decision contained in the White Paper and urge the public to disregard any report to the contrary.
I did not at any point in time make or issue the statement that was credited to me. The public should disregard it entirely.
Governor Ademola Adeleke expresses his appreciation to the people and stakeholders in the affected towns for positively welcoming the white paper.
Mr Governor appreciates them for welcoming the outcome which is premised on due process, rule of law and customs and tradition of the people’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
