Igbo Leader Seen In Viral Video Threatening To Invite IPOB To Lagos Arrested By DSS… ISCAF Urges Restraint

Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Lagos state,  Chief Fredrick Nwajagu, who was seen in a viral video threatening to invite members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to Lagos  in order to secure lives and  property of Igbo people in the Center of Excellence, has been arrested by security agents.

Team@orientactualmags.com  learned Fredrick was picked up today by security agents comprising the Department of State Services (DSS) and police officers.

Nwajagu , who had reportedly fled from his palace, was arrested at a hotel in Ejigbo area of the state.

In  the controversial  49-second video posted  on Twitter on Friday by @DeeOneAyekooto,  the embattled chief  had threatened to invite IPOB members to Lagos citing  attacks on Igbo people in the state.

‘IPOB, we will invite them. They have no job. All of the IPOB will protect all of our shops. And we have to pay them. We have to mobilize for that. We have to do that. We must have our own security so that they will stop attacking us in the midnight, in the morning, in the afternoon.

When they discover that we have our own security, before they will come, they will know that we have our own men there. I am not saying a single word to be hidden. I am not hiding my words, let my words go viral. Igbo must get their right and get stand in Lagos state’  Fredrick had submitted.

Prominent Igbo indigenes under the umbrella of the Igbo Senior Citizens Affairs Foundation (ISCAF) have however   urged restraint and advised their kinsmen, who are living in  Lagos state ,not to take  laws into their own hands.

They have also called on the international community to intervene before it  degenerates  into ethno-religious crisis while Lagos State government  and the federal government should  compensate  those whose goods and property were burnt during the attacks.

President of the Igbo elders, Bishop Maglorious Enyioha told  journalists in Owerri,  Imo state that  Igbo traders had been unjustly treated while carrying out their daily business activities because they  had simply exercised their franchise.

Igbo businessmen in Lagos state have according to him lost  of millions of naira for  no justifiable reason.

The Igbo are according to him  peace- loving people, who have been living in harmony with their hosts, adding that Ndigbo have found homes in every  part of the country where they chose to live and engage in lawful enterprise.

‘We have been appealing to the young people not to engage in any form of demonstration or an action that will cause breach of peace in the country but unfortunately, they’re being pushed to the wall, they’re molested and their properties destroyed’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
